Ben Flowerday has been a Civil War historian and reenactor for over 10 years and has participated in dozens of living history exhibits and reenactments across the eastern United States. He has served as a historical interpreter at Fort Delaware State Park (Delaware), Fort Mackinac (Michigan), and portrayed civilian and military roles in countless educational events commemorating the Battle of Gettysburg, Battle of the Wilderness, Appomattox Courthouse Surrender, and many others.
A graduate of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, Ben loves to share his knowledge and passion about all aspects of the American Civil War—not just the well-known battles and campaigns, but also the clothing, logistics, politics, personal experiences of all involved.
